Wild, Wonderful West VirginiaWell, it's been a few months now since I relocated from sunny metro Phoenix, Arizona to a tiny little country town in West Virginia!
I absolutely love my job! I never imagined that work would be so awesome - so challenging, so fun, so relaxing, so full of opportunity and good friends.

I've also met quite a few people through church. There is one person there that I wish I had talked to a little bit more, and that was a man named Paul who was going through tough times with his wife... He attended Bible study, and she was not there with him, and all session he looked like he was about to cry. A married saint across the room offered to do a double-date with him and his wife, just to hang out and play games and whatnot. She was the first person to ask if he was ok, and I'm glad she did!
Paul's sister gave a testimony earlier about giving her child up for adoption - she took that really hard, but, my, what a strong heart! I know quite a few adopted people (my dad's best friend Don, Acerbus, an old lady at my church).
I have been delving deeper with the Lord.
Our Father who art in Heaven
Hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come
Thy Will be done
On Earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us [!! Wake-up call here! If you hate anyone and haven't forgiven them, God will not forgive you! Solution: Forgive!!]
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from Evil
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory
Forever and ever
AmenIf you aren't acquainted with the Lord, now would be a good time to ask Him into your life, to forgive your sins, and to "present yourselves as a living sacrifice" as it says in the Bible. And it's true! I believe it was Jesus who said that those who love the Father are those who obey his will. Those who trust and obey, who "endure to the end," will gain a crown of life. The Lord said, "Whoever loves his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will keep it unto life eternal." This is a warning and a wake up call to all! You can't stay where you are and do what you want to do, if you want to go with God! You -must- be willing to give up your hopes, dreams, possessions, family, etc...
nothing must be more important than God!
If you are not being guided day-by-day, moment-by-moment by the Holy Spirit... if you haven't picked up your Bible in months...if you are still sinning and not turning away from it... Then I urge you to re-examine your life!
For those who are passing curious or who want a deeper understanding, I would suggest reading
"23 Minutes in Hell" by Bill Wiese. Also, read the book of John. It really puts things in perspective!
If you've had a tug to open up your Bible, do
not ignore it! The Holy Spirit of the Lord is very likely trying to help you!

I got hooked on her
Edepth and 2Masters manga (which I have sitting next to me, actually). She tells compelling stories and it's easy to get attached to her characters. More than that, Mayshing herself has a wonderful personality.
I thought this was just pure awesome:

Newgrounds Remix: "Solus-For Schala Remastered"
[link]Beautiful piano with winds and smooth cool sax. It flows very, very well together. I almost wish they included this song in the DS version of Chrono Trigger they are supposedly releasing. CT fans, take note!
